What is an O-ring?

An O-ring is a toroidal-shaped seal. This is a technical term to explain that this part is a geometric solid in the shape of a tube bent back on itself. This product is also known as an o-ring. It is a rubber gasket that provides an excellent seal on metal fittings in both static and dynamic applications.
